Monti-Bug Eating Wrasse

The Monti Bug-Eating Wrasse, Halichoeres marginatus is a fish that has a wide colour variation between sexes. The female, shown in the video, has a greenish brown colour featuring two ocelli on the dorsal fin, while in the male the colours are more vivid, considered a true rainbow fish. It is a peaceful and Reef Safe fish, enjoying swimming in aquariums with open spaces with sand substrate. The diet should be based on frozen food like mysis and brineshrimp.
